I just want to spend a moment on this traditional day of thanks to wish all of my readers a happy and peaceful day. I am truly thankful for every one of you, especially those who have opened yourselves up enough to let me lean on you when I needed a shoulder and someone to celebrate with when I was happy for even a brief moment. I pray all of you enjoy this day. I intend to just get through this day without crying too much, without the traditional bout of what my Mom would call "the blues" or the fit of anger I usually feel deep within my soul. To get through this day without any of that would be such a success it'd be liable to throw me into a fit of happiness that just MIGHT last!
So, Happy Thanksgiving and may those of us on the colder side of the planet spend this day warm and cozy with those who mean the most to us. And for those of you on the warmer side celebrating with us, take a dive in the pool for all of us who are freezing! LOL

we dont have anything similar over here, just christmas and easter, but now i have severed all ties with my family my family now only consists of the hubby, the son his partner and my grandson, and my friends and do you know what this is just great.
Yes, I hope your day was a peaceful one too. I'm so glad to be a guest on this holiday. And it's cold here, but not freezing, thank goodness.
