One Person

If you were given the opportunity to sit down and have dinner and a
conversation with one person, who would it be? It can be anyone, dead
or alive, as far back in history as you want, or someone still alive.
Who would you choose? I'll tell you mine in a later blog, but what say
you and why?

Not sure I can give you just one.

As a Christian, I would love to be able to go back in time and speak to both Jesus and Paul in-sito as it were, and not from a distance.

As it was Australia Day yesterday I would also love to speak to Joseph Banks who a few years earlier had decreed Botany bay to be an ideal place for a settlement, but when the first fleet arrived half a dozen years later in 17888, they took one look at the place and moved on to the now site of Sydney.

The other Guy I would have loved to have met Known was the late Great singer songwriter Jim Croce. I think he was a brilliant songwriter and able (like Joe South, who I would also love to talk to) could take an everyday occurrance or event and turn it into a song, either funny or pensive, as the context dictated.
