Today sucked, big time. I came home in such a bad mood, I had to wait a couple hours to write. The one lady that came in towards the end of my shift is a rude woman who acts like she can do no wrong. I don't know if she knows it or not, but she acts like she's sleeping with the boss and therefore knows she can treat everyone else like crap and it doesn't matter. I don't take to that too well, never mind her all-around stupidity. And then come to find out, she's so tight with the boss she even got her daughter a job at the same store, sometimes working the same shift. I thought that was illegal, it's definitely unethical and makes other employees wonder what special treatment she's getting. But I'm just going to keep my mouth shut, because it seems like it's a "pat my back, I'll pat yours" kind of place at times. So I'll hush...
Today was sporadic, pace wise. We had a busy morning this morning as we tried to take care of a couple things night crew didn't and get all of our stuff ready. We got that done pretty quick though, and time seemed to crawl by no matter how fast we were running. I took full advantage of lunch this time, inhaling my food like I was starving (ok I kind of was lol). I got a very nice discount too, so it made the price more tolerable.
My body held up ok except some cramps that did eventually get the pain killers and my feet were in excruciating pain by the end of the day. My neighbors dropped by to see me at work so that was nice. I do think I'm going to need a back massage soon as even hours after work I am still feeling twinges of pain if I sit the wrong way.
So I am off for now to eat (again lol). I am hoping to be asleep by 8am, though I haven't been that lucky yet. I'll talk to you all later.

Hi Lynx, sorry that you have found "one of those customers" so quickly. Unfortunately every place has a few of them, so there is no real way to avoid them. You haven't said what her daughter is like? Have you worked with her yet? Maybe she is not as bad as her mum.
Try not to read too much into the fact that the manager gave her a job there. I mean he gave you one too, so she may have got it as much as on talent as you did, despite the introduction by her mum. Give her a chance and judge her on herself and not on her Mum.
