Bleh

What a day. A cold, dreary, cloudy, snowy (with intervals of freezing rain and sleet) day. The flakes started off small, then it switched to freezing rain briefly, then went back to snow, but not the small snowflakes of earlier. These snowflakes were huge! Some of them had to be bigger than a dime! Mr. Cat is trying to get a picture or two of it, but his camera is arguing with him. I'd just as soon sit inside in the (relative) warmth with a cup of hot cocoa and enjoy the sight. It hasn't snowed much lately (though sometimes it was so cold you WISHED it would snow, just to give it a reason to be so cold). Overall, it's been a very mild - and extremely rainy - winter, and that doesn't bode well. The farmers depend on the weather for their crops, and we depend on the snow melting and coming down to replenish our water reservoirs.
Me and the cats are staying in for now, so that we can stay warm. With my constant worries about Nimbus' health, it is imperative that these cats do not get sick, especially him. I had wanted to head out to check on an application I have in, but with the weather today, I just couldn't get to it. I'm glad too, as the mix of snow and freezing rain would've just been too much to walk in. I will go tomorrow whether or not the weather cooperates (I have to - the cats' litterbox is almost empty and I'm out of peach flavored tea). I know you all probably are going "eewww" over the thought of flavored tea like that, but it's the only way I can drink tea. For some reason, I just can't stand it most of the time, and the lemon isn't enough.
Anyways, I'm going to head off for now and catch up on the news. But before I go, here's some food for thought. Should a dangerous sex offender be allowed to keep his lottery winnings? Or should he give his money to charity and his victims and their families?

he should give the money to his victims, we have just had a case similare over here, and the court ruled that he had to give his vicitms money, quite rightly too.
