Some Thoughts, Randomly

I've been thinking...
1. Perhaps it was best today was a short day at work. It gave me a chance to see how long it'd take to get there, the traffic, any people that would be out walking, and a chance to start a routine on an easy day. With the next two days off, I have the opportunity to gradually get down into another two hours earlier wake up time.
2. I'm still trying to figure out why my PDA went into blank screen. It did it again today, but now I think it was the battery. I had to do a restore because I switched batteries without the power being off (automatic hard reset), but I was able to soft reset without it locking up on the big battery. So I guess the little one is dying. Figures. It's the only one that I can use and the cases still work. I guess I'm going to have to BUILD me a case. Oh JOY... luckily I live with a mechanic with TOOLS! I think what I'll do is get a sheet of thin plywood and a small sheet of aluminum... either that or try canvas again, but I've not had much success there.
3. I'm torn as to what to make of Kosovo. I think if they really want independence, let them have it. If they turn into Pakistan or Iran, then we'll deal with that. But part of me says give them a chance. The other side laughs at that.
4. Our main TV crapped out this weekend, luckily it's old, so it's gotten it's use for the bucks. Heck we've had it for probably 4 years. So it'll be ok.
5. Mic had me watching "The day the earth stood still" at the end of last week, what a scifi movie. A wee cheesy, but I think it was cool that back in that day (1951) they did an alien movie without the cheesy hollywood little green men. Refreshing. And also... even the aliens had a 'god' that decided life and death issues.
6. Back to the pocketpc, wonder if it's the new cf... no, if it was, it shoulda done it after I switched batteries... but I reset it with the small one yesterday and it didn't do it... no new proggies... wtf? Confusing...
7. Work... wow on the benefits. And what a nice manager. Not eye candy though, ladies, and besides, he's married. Figures though, all the good ones are taken. I know, I stole me the last one! :)
8. Hillary comeback in Wisconsin? *shudder*
9. Who in the hell has 3 purses and changes her mind that many times at least in 24 hours just over which one to take to work? GEEZ! lol, leave it to me.
10. Back to the battery. Do I even dare use it? Maybe I should try the freeze and thaw again. It's worked before, but not for THIS issue.

OK folks, sorry for the rambling thoughts, just giving you a peek into my brain, and trust me, those thoughts all passed through in less than 2 minutes. Now ya see why I can't sleep sometimes? LOL
