Laundry Day!

You wouldn't believe how many loads of laundry I've done today. To say that I've done a bunch would be an understatement. It's currently almost 330pm, and I've been doing laundry since probably 10am. So as I'm sitting here, load 4 has probably 20 minutes left on it in the dryer, and load 5 is in the washer waiting for the dryer to finish. My last load is going to be the bed linens as they haven't been washed in a very long time it seems (it's kinda hard to find the money to wash ANYTHING that isn't absolutely necessary to get a job). I haven't gotten the first paycheck yet, but I used the money we had around combined with change from a purchase to do it. By the time I get done with the laundry, I'll probably have spent somewhere in the neighborhood of $25-30 to do laundry. I still have another load to do at least afterwards, but a load of towels isn't on the priority list right now. We still have plenty of towels, so I'm not focusing on it right now. Once I get paid, I will wash them and my throw blankets and maybe the mats in the bathroom, but those too aren't as high on the priority list. To say I am tired of looking at clothing right now is an understatement. I've kept up on the folding though, so all is well, and the still damp clothes (I didn't notice the dryer was on full blast), though few are hanging in the closet and doorway - mostly the jeans. So some of the shirts are hanging up in the doorway too, since the space in the closet has jeans hanging up lol. I can't wait to get a dresser that will allow me to fold up much more of my laundry and let me use the closet for storage and drying area. But that requires us moving boxes to storage, or at least going through them and throwing out what we don't need. But that requires transportation we don't have right now... and patience I don't have either! I'm at the point right now where I'm merely working, sleeping, and in transit one way or another. It seems like eating is something I merely do on the way to bed instead of something I thoroughly enjoy like normal. Either I've been around too much food or I'm just too busy. But I got some 6 hour shifts this week, and though it'll only be a 35 hour check this week, it's surely a nice change from the 9 hour days I was working last week. So I'm not going to complain too much, and hope that next week's schedule isn't so harsh on me.
