I just want you all to know that not only is Nimbus ok, he is GREAT. The doctor did not find any blockages or any other signs that would explain his breathing issues, nor did she hear the murmur that had him on the heart medication in the first place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We did put him back on heart medicine for 6 months as, though she didn't hear the murmur, that doesn't mean that there isn't an issue. This should also help his breathing as this can be a side effect of his heart condition. He was a very good boy, too, weighing in at a solid 14.0lb. He has lost less than a half pound since his hospitalization a year and a half (nearly 2) ago, but considering the weight he'd gained (which seems now more than ever to be pure fat), he's at a healthy weight, if not slightly underweight for a Coon. But with a (potentially serious) heart issue still lurking, he needs to be as light as healthfully possible. So that's the news for today, extremely great as it is. I may not be blogging much for a day or two as I got seriously sick for a little while last night and am still recovering from the worst puke-fest of my life. But I know my system is flushed out, and now only have to recover my strength from the episode. I will be ok though, and am feeling ok. I did manage two loads of laundry through the day, so all is well. Talk to ya'll soon.
