Howdy everyone.
No I'm not happy today. My beloved Bengals lost to the traitor. Darn vikings. WTF though - we didn't learn a daggum thing from watching their loss last week. Did they even watch the tapes? Anyways, no use crying over spilled milk, cause you can't win every game. Soon enough, even Peyton will fall. We just have to regroup and get our crap together for next week, because San Diego won't be any easier to beat.
My little owie is doing better. It just didn't want to seal up last night. It still hurts a wee but only when I try to stretch the surrounding area too much. My skin is so dry right now on my hands from work and just general winter crap that I must have a dozen little scratches n cracks n stuff. It's really annoying but there's nothing I can really do about it, because lotion's only going to hurt worse. Once they heal up though, I'm going to have to bring out the big guns - Gold Bond. I can't go all winter with these dry hands. I'm not all about the soft skin, I just don't like my skin feeling more like sandpaper! Never mind the owies!
The cats are doing great, Jadzia's been one heck of a lapcat lately. Curzon's found a new spot on the bed to call his own since his previous spot is now a wee too close to his sister's. Nimbus is guardcat-on-duty right now, until big Curry takes back over.
The pda is coming along fine, I just need to finish up a couple little things and get my contacts in here and then I'll be done. I finally found the last couple programs I needed, and a working copy of the DST update that fixes when we switch times since the government screwed that all up a couple years back. That was the one real nice thing about living in Arizona. They don't ever change their clocks out there! It was so nice! It takes some getting used to though when you've spent your entire life to going around changing clocks and watches twice a year. It's so nice now that we have computers and such that do it automatically!
One last thing before I wrap this blog up. Next time I get on the computer, I'm going to be disabling the anonymous commenting. I am so sick and tired of having to reject spam comments it's not even funny. What started it, I have no idea. All I know is over the last month or so, it seems like every post or every other post I put up gets at least one spam comment. Now granted, I do have to authorize them all but it is still annoying! So please accept my apologies for having to make you guys and gals go through that extra step to leave a comment, but I think most of you understand.
So anyways, I am off to cuddle with a JazzyCat that just won't leave me alone LOL. We all hope that you've had a great weekend.
Peace!

The spam is out of control and most of what I am getting is on REALLY old post and in chinese to boot...lol
Yeah, we are bummed too. We thought for sure we'd learn from the Raiders and playing it safe even with the Lions! Watching the game made it hard for my humans to eat their chicken wings at the bar. I didn't even want to wear my bandanna. sigh. We're still crossing paws for a playoff game! We just hope we won't lose it to the slimy Steelers.
For your hands, try liquid bandaid on the cracks. My mommy's get nasty too.
I'm glad you're all doing well! We've been crazy busy and of course Baby Joel doesn't always let mommy type comments.
Your pictures are always so nice, even when they show a needle *shudder*
