Update

Hey guys and gals.
Whew, what a couple days its been. I'm still sorting through all the pics I've taken over the last month or so (sorry guys, the best ones get posted immediately so you've already seen them). I didn't get to take any new ones today because we all decided it's too cold to be up and about! It's not that it's cold INSIDE so much but it's so friggin' windy OUTSIDE it makes it seem like it's colder than it is inside. It's sunny one minute and cloudy like it's near nighttime the next! I think us girls will be staying in bed tonight, though we might have periodic company from the boys. But they're bigger, so they're more insulated.
Nimbus' diabetes continues to baffle me. I boosted him up because he was starting to creep up, then he does a drop! Oh how confusing! That's Nimbus for you though. You know you have a confusing cat when he's managed to baffle his veterinarian! That's my BooCat for you! LOL...
On more serious news...
Now there's talk about profiling anyone who looks or has a Muslim-appearing name. Well, all African-Americans better be ready because many Muslims are black. But I guess the ones they recruit here in the US will still get through. Geez, we accomplished a lot there. Ok, we'll make it all men (just for the sake of argument, guys). The terrorists already have proven that they can and will recruit women. Well, there goes that too! Ok, so my point is, let's quit shooting blanks in the dark and start getting to the business at hand: better detection of explosives and chemicals that can harm people and/or property. You don't need to bring a big bottle of cough medicine with you on the plane, for pete's sake you can only take it every 4-6 hours if that! Help us all out and just take it before you get on the plane and buy more when you get to your destination. Or get with the program and go with the pills. Pepto even comes in pills now! This isn't the good ol' days anymore. We can't fly like we once did, carefree and reckless. There are people of every gender and skin color out there angry enough to want to kill us. We must stop them. It's as simple as that. And to the people angry with us putting the terrorist from Christmas Day through our criminal system, don't gripe when the roles are reversed... What I think most of us REALLY want to have happen to him is much, much worse than putting him on trial. Do you really think there's any chance for him to get away with it anyway? How many witnesses were there? OMGG! He doesn't stand a chance in hell. No one's gonna buy an insanity defense. God knows crazy isn't gonna cut it, nor is just plain ol' stupidity. He's gonna be convicted and sent to the chair (or the gourney, we'll see). If you're so damn proud of your nation, show a little faith in her system.
Ok, I gotta shut up before I REALLY get on a soapbox. Trust me, I can go there, quite easily at that too!
Before I go, I want to apologize to everyone for not making my rounds lately, especially the SoulBlog and Walter's as you two have kept up with me quite well as I've rambled from one end of the spectrum to the other. I'm getting there eventually, I promise! I'm going to try to do a blog-by-blog tag tomorrow, if I can get around to it. I have plans for tomorrow as well (laundry) but who knows how far past planning I'll get.
