Hey folks. I don't know yet if this means I'm back from my blogcation or not, but I figured I'd share a few new pics with you. First of all, (don't kill me Mr. Cat, I couldn't find her harness) Jadzia WANTED to go outside! Considering her harness is MIA, I held on to her pretty tight in my arms, but luckily for me, she really didn't want to go anywhere either. It's cloudy, chilly and rainy here, so there's no way she's leaving the porch (the lil girl HATES being wet, even ONE sprinkle), but considering her fragile health, I wasn't letting her down anyway. I wrapped her up in my arms snugly and let her look around and get some fresh air in her lungs. She loved it! She was so happy it was obvious.
Well, a little while after we came back in, Curzon decided to say hi from under the table - now his plan was to just sit on one of the other dining room chairs and give me the eyes, but when he saw the camera, he had to come say hi to it! So I figured I'd try to get a pic of him giving me his famous snorkel and/or a SuperCurry as we call it (snorkel is a weird noise he makes when he nuzzles us, SuperCurries are usually snorkels given on hind paws, usually stretching up as high as he can). I didn't get one on camera, but I did get him showing all his front teeth! Poor mouse that sees them!
Such a handsome face! He's been such a cuddlebug lately too, but all three of them have been staying close to me lately. Hopefully this doesn't mean something's bout to happen... probably just everyone hanging close for warmth!
So then considering I had such good luck with Curzon I thought I'd try with Nimbus... No such luck. For being my more photogenic cat (I have more pics of Nimbus than the twins combined probably because he cooperates), he was NOT cooperating at all today - OBVIOUSLY! I did get the "get that thing out of my face" look though! LOL
Yes, this is the only picture that WASN'T blurry or crappy. Look at that look! I told you! He wasn't cooperating!
So then I went off to go see the girl, who was hanging out in the living room chillin' away from the boys.
Out of nearly a dozen tries, these were the only decent shots. You can see in the last pic she's clearly showing off her collar. I swear that collar is the only one of the three that has lasted any length of time. Yet she's my itchy cat... Nimbus' collar should last quite a long time though. His is just a little newer because it was a replacement for a hand-me-down collar that he inherited from a very big, strong, sweet alpha cat (Mr. Cat's Astro) years ago. I guess the better part of 20 years of being on a bad@ss alphacat and the prince put a little too much mileage on it. At least I was able to find an identical replacement - in the dog aisle! LOL, but poor Boo's neck is too big for a cat collar!
So anyways, if all goes well I'll be catching up on everyone's blogs from the warmth of bed here shortly. I have to give the BooCat his poke and shot here in a couple minutes, so hopefully he's been a good boy today and not spiked.
Be well everyone!
