The Day-Late Blog

Ok as promised, here's what was supposed to be yesterday's post.
I had an early day, so I figured with the sun beaming in nicely, we'd have ourselves a good ol' fashioned playday! Now I couldn't find the nip sock at first, but it did eventually get found (obviously). It was one of those cases of "if it's over my eyesight line I won't see it" kind of things. Anyways, so we got started with pictures...
I started with a saucer of catnip, just to see who was awake enough to want to play... Well they all were but poor Nimbus got the short end of the stick (don't worry he made up for it in attention later). Curzon had his fill oddly enough before he just OD'd on it and so we start there...

Gotta get ready for whatever the human has in mind... and that means being clean!

Starting to get sleepy...

Very, VERY sleepy! It's a lot of work to keep the paws clean!
So anyways, then Jadzia seizes the opportunity of a distracted Curzon and goes after the Nip.

Obviously it didn't last for long. She really does love the nip, but hasn't mastered the art of eating it LOL!

Still sleepy...

Snubbin' me...

Snubbin' me...

Wanting attention! Surprise surprise... ROFL.
So I decided to go ahead and pull out the tripod and play with them as I'd just found the nip sock. Now there's a few things you should know.
1. It's a long video. Sorry, don't have splitting abilities. I'm cheap, I ain't payin' for it.
2. There's a lot of background noises: the fridge, the heater, me being clumsy, me stirring my simmering lunch, the camera... you get the picture. Save the audio for when Jadzia comes back in for playtime after Curzon steals it. He will steal it back... but not without a protest!
3. Pardon my shady videography. You try playing with the cats, videotaping them, and making lunch at the same time!
4. Enjoy it!
So here we go!

For those of you who can't tell which one is which still, we start off with Jadzia. Someday I'll figure out the camera settings better so the videos aren't so small and grainy. But I think you can figure it out.
So after all this playing and hissing, I figured lunch was done, so I figured I'd show you what I was eating. Mr. Cat made me Italian Sausages for my bday (yes I made ya'll miss it - I hate the SOB of a day lol) and so I was warming some up yesterday. This is what it looked like by the time I got it made and sat down to eat. MMMMmmmm all the yummy peppers. This is one of the bestest best dishes Mr. Cat makes. Maybe I'm just spoiled to have a man that can cook so well, but yanno what, I'm enjoying it!

Dang that looks so yummy I'm glad I'm warming them up now because I'm starving already! Nimbus, get ready for your shot a little early because my 2nd lunch isn't gonna wait for you! Hahahahaha... But please kitties, if your see your beans eating something yummy like this, don't eat it. Spaghetti sauce, as for pasta sauces in general, are absolutely naughty naughty for you guys. And for special kitties like Nimbus, it can be fatal! Don't fall for the trap, cause trust me, it ain't much better for us humans, but we're suckers like that. I know the stuff in your bowl doesn't taste nearly as good, but trust me, it's so much better for you. But that's for another post.
