I figure I might as well start off right, with both the mancat and mancat-in-training, right?
So of course I start off with when Nimbus was still a wee runt, learning how to fight. He always acted mean when they'd go at it, but no one ever got hurt. And as rough as it LOOKED like Curzon was being, OMG he was being ever so gentle. It still amazes me that a cat that big (and he's much bigger now but still) could be so gentle!
One of Nimbus' first lessons was to never show fear. That didn't take long! By the time he was around 6 months old or so, he was already getting the courage up to start crap on his own!
But soon Nimbus graduated into mancat-in-training...
...and to missed partner-in-crime when he went to the big hospital a few years ago. These were taken I believe the week Nimbus returned from his hospital stay. Even now, I'm not sure that a greeting that up-close could happen. But for the few days Nimbus was gone, the twins barely ate or any of the other things cats do. Jadzia took a lot longer to get over it - MONTHS. Curzon was getting over it within a week, as evidence here shows.
And as you can see, they are truly best pals. Curzon hangs out with both Jadzia and Nimbus, but when it's the boys, you can tell it's not a master mancat and his apprentice anymore (though sometimes Nimbus still gets tested). These two are just about as close as two mancats can get.
Now who else could get away with THIS? LOL, not many!
But these two aren't your ordinary cats!
Well, I hope you enjoyed Day 1 of my week-long cuteness overload marathon! Come back tomorrow (if I figure out the future posting thingie correctly) for more!
(and as a note, sorry for one pic being hidden, I have no idea why, but this should fix it!)
