Thanks

Hey friends. I just wanted to thank all of you who've kept up over the last month or two when things seemed to have slowed down a bit. I was considering just giving up this blog to the cats, but I also know some of you get tired of all the talk about the cats. I haven't forgotten about you, I promise. I just haven't had much else to write about nowadays, especially since I pulled out of the whole politics thing for the most part. I'm more focused on other things right now and I'm trying to get myself back into a hands-on hobby that will keep me busy when I'm not working. But finding that motivation is difficult at best. I really do want to finish the cross-stitch that I started a very long time ago (a tribute to my cats), but that's something I'm not sure I have a steady enough hand to do. I just know I have to get myself lost in something again so to speak. It helps in so many ways, like food does to most "normal" people (normal never did apply to me lol). I don't have the ability or time to do another major crochet project like I did a few years ago (my scarf), though I would love to make myself a good thick winter cap. So that pretty much leaves cross-stitch and bracelet making, and I have a lot more supplies for the cross-stitching, though I have enough plastic beads to last a lifetime! I just have to reset my focus a little bit I guess. Perhaps I'll have to add that to my new year's resolution list. First things first, I think it's time for a glass of OJ and a night in front of the TV. Tonight there's a special on of the best of the Super Bowl commercials. Sounds good!
