A Thought from Jadzia (or two)

I see my boy hijacked the blog earlier. Fine. My turn.
Snoopervising mom while she was surfing from her PDA, I happened to notice how long her PDA's uptime is... Doing some simple conversions from hours on to days on, it comes to 16.5 days' worth her PDA has been on since she got this thing back in December. I know she doesn't have a lot of "free time" as she calls it because she's always hunting or taking care of one of us (usually the boy), but that's a lot of lost snuggle and blog-visiting time lost! Ok, ok, in fairness, we do a lot of visiting from her PDA, but we can't leave messages from it! I wish there was a way we could email comments to blog posts, but that wouldn't be fair either. I have come to the conclusion I must find a way to get her up and on the PC though. We have a lot of new friends to keep up with and say hi to (like Iza, Cokie, Luna, and the rest of you), so we really do need more time in front of the big screen. We hope we'll get some tomorrow as mom said most of what she was planning on doing today she's going to wait to do until tomorrow. Something about needing to rest while she has a chance...
We got teased today by Mr. Sunbeam. He came out very briefly to see us this morning, but by the time the beans noticed, the mean old clouds were already chasing him away! Mom says it's supposed to be rainy tomorrow and according to some "stupid weather guys" maybe Tuesday too! We don't want any more rain! And Mom said she wants to do a photo shoot with me outside like she did Curzon a week or two back! I'm not sure if I like the sound of that if she thinks she's going to make me sit in that chair like she did big brother, but I guess I'll take whatever attention I can get.
She was finishing going through our pictures and came across the worm pics. She realized that they were even more disgusting than when she first took them. See, mom is crazy. She likes them things, slimy and squirmy as they are. She's weird like that. Maybe the next time she decides to bring in something wild for us, she'll bring us something more worthwhile - like a mouse! I'd love to see her try to catch one though! That'd be funny watching her diving trying to catch a rodent without getting bit. She's not nearly quick enough for that. That's our job anyway. We are the expert guardians of this castle. Let us hunt and we'll kill anything that ain't supposed to be here. Mom says though that the mice probably know we're here and are too scared to come in. Well, that's good enough for me! They don't need to be anywhere near my humans! It's bad enough mom used to have one as a pet when we were kittens (she says it was a "hamster" not a mouse, whatever the difference is - it just looked like a fluffy mouse to me lol). That one survived - the next rodent intruder will not be so lucky. I might be though! I miss having one to play with! The toy ones that Curzon loves so much just won't cut it for me. They don't smell like mice, feel like mice, taste like mice, or move like mice, so they ain't good enough for me! Mom tried one of those remote controlled ones, but it was way too big for us and so unnatural that not even big brother cared for it. And on top of that, she said we shed so much that we got it's "legs" caught up too quickly! That'll teach her! We are more than content to chase each other until we finally get our paws on our little introoder in the ceiling. C'mere little buddy, you can come in through the kitchen... I'll make sure you have a welcoming party waiting for you when you get here.
MUWAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Anyways, I have a nap to get back to. Everyone else here is napping except the beans. The boy is totally zonked out up on top of the scratching post and my brother's not too far away from me, just out of twitch-kick range (thank goodness because sometimes he gets a wee violent with those back feet in his sleep). I know the boy said we might get the bean to take some pictures of us, and we still might, but our chances are probably much better tomorrow. She's being very lazy today - much like we are. I think I'll go surprise her by curling up on her lap for a little while. Maybe I'll even let her cuddle me.
Be well everyone!
