There are always tons of distractions here. We live in a suburb of a bigger city, so even though we're in quite a residential area, we still have lots of traffic at times. And there's always neighbors coming in and out, especially around dinnertime. And with the creek right behind us and the woods beside us, we got LOTS of wildlife and insects too! If you go searching back in our archives the last month or so, you'll see we even have a resident pair of ducks! The Canadian Geese stay away thankfully though, as they are very mean and they tend to like to chase our mom around. But we have all sorts of big birds that fly over now and then too, so there's always something to distract us during the day. It's why I like being outside late at night, but unfortunately being a black cat, this requires the leash because mom would flip out if I wandered off even the slightest bit, as if I don't know where home is by now. PFT! But now with Nimbus getting mom up so early every morning, her staying up to take me out is much more difficult for her. But next time she takes a vacation, or maybe when she just has a couple days off, I'll get her to take me out after Nimbus' shot. We'll see. You know us ManCats have to inspect all of our turf, even us indoor ones!
