Friday Update

Hey folks. TSB came home thoroughly exhausted but we managed to keep her off the couch so she wouldn't crash out on us again. We'll let her rest later. Poor bean, took her over an hour to get home from hunting when if she'd just walked home she'd been home so much quicker.
Well, it's official. As soon as we get TSB to post this, we'll have the badge up. We now OWN this blog and are putting it out there for the whole CB to enjoy! We apologize for the delays that we go through and how sporadic pictures are, but we bet ya'll understand.
Curzon's still doing good. TSB really thinks that the stomach squeezing he got at the vet a few weeks back really helped him out. Now when he pukes it's less food and more hairball. This time there wasn't any food in it at all, just some food-colored water and a wee hairball! Now that may sound disgusting (and it kinda is), but for him, it's a major feat. TSB still hasn't decided whether or not she likes how light he's gotten though. 14.5 lb seems kinda light even for a mix Coon mancat. He was never a lethargic boy, even when he was pushing 20lb. She says he just seems a little skinny, but the vet says he's at the ideal weight. TSB is monitoring that very quickly. She knows how to put weight on him fast too... he has a secret sweet spot for baked goods, even just plain ol' bread.
Mom's doing good too. TSB put her collar back on her last week and so far, she hasn't started itching again, not to the point of getting all those owies at least. She's definitely feeling good too, and maybe a little TOO good. But it's no worries to me, heck she's starting to hiss less at me! I'm not complaining at all! So long as she doesn't turn her flea magnet back on we'll be fine! MOL!
TSB tells me I've "stabilized" - or so she hopes. She's still very concerned as she doesn't like having to give me so much insulin, considering earlier this month I was getting half of what I'm getting now. But 4 units twice a day is better than 11! I've been there, done that, NEVER want to go back there again. She's still talking about taking me to the vet again. I don't know why, I feel fine! TSB is such a worrywart!
So anyways, that's what's going on here. We wish everyone a happy weekend full of nice weather, gentle breezes, and a plethora of sunbeams! Curzon's being a laphog right now, so I'll just have to wave from afar!
