From All of Us

Howdy everyone! Yes, I've taken over again. I will let the cats take back over in a minute though. I just want to tell Poppy, Misha, and all the rest of you guys "down under" to send us the warm weather back! LOL seriously, going from nearly 90 to 50 in the matter of a couple days is kinda drastic, don't ya think?
Nimbus: Don't listen to her, she's just whining because she doesn't have the fur like I do.
Hey! It's not just the fur, it's the insulation!
N: Are you insinuating I'm fat?
No, but you aren't skinny either - thank goodness!
Jadzia: Both of them boys are fat, just admit it.
Curzon: I am not! I'm sleek and slender! The vet even told me I'm right where I should be!
I kinda disagree with that, but I'm not complaining too much either. You still seem a little scrawny, especially for a Coon. But TECHCNICALLY you're at the low end of normal weight according to SOME people, so I guess I won't fuss. I also remember when you were as big as Nimbus is now... But you weren't nearly that strong. That's not to say you weren't, just not as strong as him.
C: I can still kick his furry behind anyday!
Only because you left a couple of your tricks out when you taught the boy how to fight and he's not a fighter cat anyway.
C: He's a wuss. Just say it.
J: Oh no he's not! Not my boy! Never!
C: He doesn't even care about worms!
J: But he's killed more bugs in the last year than you have since you were a kitten!
LOL she IS right there. Nimbus IS quite the little bug killer. He gets that from Jadzia for sure. Curzon doesn't seem to care.
C: If it's not a rodent, who cares?
Cause bugs are evil too! They make humans itch and sometimes hurt!
C: I am not going after bees and such.
You better not! We'll let Mr. Cat chase them out. I'm hiding with you guys in that case!
N: Let us at least kill the 6 legged ones!
No! You guys are NOT getting anywhere close to a spider. So many of those things are deadly. Scared to death of them as I am, I'd rather me get bit than you. Teehee... If I have to I'll drop a boot on them, or a big bucket of water!
J: What about snakes?
If they're not big enough to squeeze you to death and they ain't venomous, I think I'm cool with that.
C: Does this mean I get to go exploring more and see if I can find something?
NO!
C: Why?
Because getting you AND me out is a pain. Trust me, them woods still has one of my slippers! LOL... And I'd rather not have to do a tick search. Anyways, I didn't say you guys could take over the post yet!
J: Too bad! Now you know what it's like to be me, always getting pushed aside by these mean boys!
Hey, be nice to your brother and your son.
So anyways, I'm kicked back today (obviously on the PDA since I'm not doing pictures), TRYING to find something interesting on the TV. Geez, this is what I miss when I'm hunting? Boy I ain't missing squat! I think this is nearly as bad as during the overnight! Not even on Animal Planet is there anything interesting! Come on! Where's the innovation? Something semi-interesting at least? There's no CSI, NCIS, JAG, or Criminal Minds. Nothing on History or History International. Heck the cat chase is more exciting than the TV and there's barely any chasing going on!
I'm still keeping up with everyone though. Now that Google has reopened access to it's stuff on older PDA's, things are definitely better. I know it's been a few weeks, but I'm still enjoying it like it just happened. Poor Netvibes feed reader has been neglected so long LOL, but it's just so much easier with Google. The only thing left is to redo my comics feeds. But that's not a concern right now, as that's one of those things that's hard to read on this tiny little screen, especially since it's so old I can't even do a basic screen rotation on it. Oh well...
Oh I forgot to tell everyone... I screwed up yesterday. I dropped my PDA! Luckily it was in its metal case, so it was much more cushioned than it would've been otherwise. But the whole reason I even mentioned it is because with the other PDA, it would've fkd up the screen alignment and caused all sorts of other issues. This one? Naw, heck I only rebooted it just as a precaution! It's still ticking along like I'm no klutz! Yeah, its an old thang, but it's definitely built a LOT better. I wonder how many of those new-fangled devices could fare so well?
So anyways, I am off for now...
C: But I'm not! Gimme that keyboard, silly bean! You see, I'm not done yet.
N: Nice try, mine! I have to remind everyone next weekend is my moment in the spotlight - well in the ring! Next weekend it's my round in Misha's Kitten Contest. Please remember to vote for me! I know that other kitten I'm paired up with is just so adorable! But you can't beat a 3-4 week old kitten face!
J: You were so much easier back then to put up with!
I don't know about that, Queenie. He was always sneaking out of the nest!
J: Hush! Or I'll stop my little pawdance!
Not like it's on me anyways so pft!
J: Hey I didn't say you could invite my brother up here!
I didn't, but he's free to do what he wants to too, you know.
J: Just make sure he stays over THERE. I haven't been able to get one lick of rest ever since I woke up.
Yeah, a whole 5 minutes of him chasing you... When you run away and then dart back out! Either way, both of you better stay put for now. I'm in no mood for a cat fight on my lap, or anywhere close to it!
N: See what I go through? See why we need a good kitty club? We are so rare we need to gather together so that we can defend ourselves from the mean kitties!
I think you do just fine on your own boy. I've seen you fend off Curzon and put your own mother back in her place. You're just not that way though unless they make you. I've never known a more patient, tolerant cat.
N: I forgot to tell you guys... She gave us another saucer of Nip! Not refilling the nip sock, straight out of the bag nip! Woohoo! And even better, she made sure I got first helping! ME! Finally I get to be first!
Oh please, Boo. Your head is ALWAYS first in the food bowl. The pity card doesn't work.
N: But I don't eat the whole thing and then puke it up either!
Curzon's getting much, much better about that, Nimbus. I'm still wondering when your next hairball is coming. My goodness you are shedding like heck! But I guess you are one of the rare few cats that can break it down within yourself easily. You always had a strong gut.
N: It was probably something I ate as a kitten.
Oh dear, don't go there, cause you tried to eat EVERYTHING and most it was NOT edible!
N: Yes, let's not go there. I'd rather you not bring that part back up.
So let's let this post go into the blogosphere and see if there's anything new going on out there. To all of our friends out in the CB, be well, enjoy the sunspots if you got them, and remember to spend some time taking it easy this weekend with your beans!
