Mom Re-Dominates the Blog

I know I have my own blog, but I'm hijacking this one. LOL. It WAS mine first.
I went to Best Buy today to research the printer market, and get a baseline at what I was going to have to pay to get what Mr. Cat wanted. Well, instead of just walking out, I ended up buying one before it went off-sale tomorrow. I finally have the all-in-one I wanted, and it's not nearly as noisy as the 8+ year old one that Mr. Cat's had since before we got together ROFL. So today I'm showing off.
Setup was a pain lol, as always, but I got through it without any problems. I just could've used an extra set of hands and a much longer USB cable! OOFAH! So anyways, I decided after it printed what it needed to that I'd print a picture just to see how well it did and to make sure it worked right. This is the picture I chose, because the one I have is all speckled from being up on the 'fridge for so long!

Ok, ok, I had second motive. I wanted everyone to remember just how handsome Nimbus was as a wee kit!
Then I scanned a picture both Mr. Cat and I have been wanting to share with ya'll. This is the original queen, the sweet yet mean@ss, total ruler of the universe... I've talked about her before, Ms. Obnoxio, or Nupsie for short. She went to the Bridge many years ago, before we humans met. Mr. Cat was as close to her (if not closer) than I am to my Curzon (and trust me, that's hard to do). She was all ladycat, all the time, and I miss her even though I never knew her!

For those of you who were reading before the cats took over, you know how much I miss my Mom. Well, this isn't the best photo of her (she NEVER wore makeup ROFL) but it's the ONLY one I have of her sadly. This was taken on her wedding day just a few short months before she died. I needed to save this picture badly as it too was starting to show some damage from being on the fridge so long. RIP Mom, I will always miss you!

Now, my "mum" (those who know me know why I call her my mum, after all she did save my rear literally once when I was a kid) became a first-time grandma nearly a year ago now... here's a couple early pics of the little darling princess... It's hard to imagine a happier little baby, but she comes from excellent stock on both sides.

That second picture didn't want to fix quite right, but it'll work. It still captures her energy and beauty. Watch out boys, this little princess is going to be ruling the world before too long! She'll leave a lot of bad boys' hearts in the dust. I wish I was close enough to see her grow up in person, but luckily, I keep getting sent pictures! :)
So anyways, I have to go as the cats are causing a fuss over at the empty printer box, and I really SHOULD finish putting all the stuff in there, and perhaps the old printer too if it'll fit. Thanks to all of you who left comments today, and OMG the tons I got yesterday. Hopefully I'll have time this weekend to do another photo shoot but it's so cool and gloomy today, who knows. We went from nearly 90 this time Wednesday to barely holding onto 50 today!
