Anniversary!

Nimbus: TSB just noticed it was a year ago today that she got introduced to the antibiotics that finally turned the tide for me and got me on the road to healing! Mum, I love ya as much as a cat can love a hoomin, and thank you for not being offended when I'd rather snuggle with the other hoomin. I know you do everything you do because you love me and it makes me feel better, but sometimes I just want to hold Mr. Cat's paw and drift off to dreamin' of mice.
TSB: It's ok BooBear. You're my baby - even though you're all grown up into a very, very handsome mancat! I know Mr. Cat's your hoomin, I'm just your mum and nurse. I'm cool with that. Those rare occasions when you lay with me - even for a little while, like last night - melt me right to pieces, especially when you're so close to your mom and she DOESN'T hiss at you!
Nimbus: I DID get lucky, didn't I? You think she knew I was there?
TSB: Oh I think she knew. Whether she was awake enough to care, that's hard to say. She was OUT like a furry rock MOL! She DOES love you though, she just has a weird way of showing it.
Nimbus: Kinda like how Curzon likes to get in the way when you're trying to take care of me?
TSB: I'm not sure if he's curious, nosy, or he thinks I'm hurting you. Either way, he's ALWAYS right there, ain't he?
Nimbus: MOL yep. Oh and one more thing before we go. Can you NOT poke my right ear? I know sometimes it's easier to get to, but it's not as used to it as my left one is, so I feel it more. I'm sorry that I kept trying to get to the poke before you did this afternoon.
TSB: If that's the biggest thing you request the rest of your life, we got it made, buddy. You got it - and don't worry about it. I'll do my best to always get to your left ear. It DOES donate blood easier usually MOL. Perhaps I should give that poor right ear a kiss and make it all better?
Nimbus: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! No hoomin affection! None! Not even a nosetap! Don't embarrass me in front of all my furiends! I'm gone!
TSB: MOL... and off I go - to cook dinner!
