Update

Well folks, I THINK I got the SOB fixed. Emphasis on the THINK part of it MOL. The rest of the day today is going to be spent testing the PC, and if all goes well, we'll have a mancat monday - prince edition up tomorrow.
We had some storms roll through, though not as bad as I was expecting. When it was entering the next county west of here, it was rotating and moving over 60mph. So of course I start racing to pack up, Kansas kid that I am MOL. I had the small carrier ready to go, ready to stuff the Queen into and race her downstairs first (she's the escape artist). Then as it entered that county, it lost its rotation (THANK GOODNESS) and slowed down slightly (easing the threat for straightline winds). By the time got here it was just rain, a few good rumbles of thunder, and nothing more, not even gusty winds. I had Curzon outside for a good half hour from just as the storm was approaching until the winds picked up just enough to put a little angle on the rain. He was scared though - and I should've let him in sooner. He was so scared he started peeing! I noticed my leg got warm, saw what was going on, unfolded him and let him spray the porch instead - and boy did he pee all over it! MOL. I carried him inside and paper towel dried what little he got on him and let him off to go under the bed where he feels safe. Surely he cleaned himself off too. I had to change myself and wash the spot that he DID nail me on. I'll wash off better once the storms pass - I just didn't want to smell cat pee the whole time!
Nimbus is doing well, playing like he hasn't played in a while. He's still staying on the ab's for at LEAST another week as he's not being very predictable yet. I think it's safe to say though he will almost surely be on for at least most of the whole course. I WILL kill this infection. Don't you worry about that. I'm more stubborn than ANY germ!
So anyway, that's all for now. Hope everyone hasn't melted in the heat! And purrs to our furiend Inigo who is giving the poor Rumblemum a wee of a worry. Get better, furiend! Our model can't be having to stay home to nurse his brofur back to health! He needs you as his manager and lawyer! MOL!
