First of all, remember we're cracking open the door to #nipclub at 5pm EST, if not a little sooner. So far the weather isn't that bad and is permitting us to be online on the PC instead of on the PDA. Of course this means we're having to watch the radar very closely. Those of you that know us well know we live just a mere couple dozen feet away from a very flood-prone creek, but right now the creek hasn't jumped the banks, and with the lull in the rain, the level has actually fallen a bit. So, so far so good right now. We're not scared - this isn't like the torrential rain we got several years ago that nearly left us in the middle of the creek. Plus, the city has done a lot of work on the creek since then, so she will still rise, and occasionally jump the banks, but not like she once did. I'm much more concerned for our friends off south of us like Brian that are getting much worse than us and up north who are getting the wrap-around. We've been very fortunate, we've had some heavy rain but not anything that lasted too long. It's been a steady drizzle more than anything. So please purr that this continues.
So without any further ado, here's our LOL for the day!
