Mancat Monday - Da Prince and da Cell Cameras!

Today I'm showing off my BooCat. You've seen a lot of these pics (and Shadow's seen em all MOL), but some of you are so recent you haven't. I'll also try to tell you where they came from.

These two came from 2 years ago almost when Nimbus was still recently-diagnosed diabetic. We were still fighting his initial URI and I, at my wit's end, took him to Petsmart stupidly instead of the vet. I didn't have the relationship with her then that I do now and I was trying to find SOMEONE that knew what to give him to fight the infection. It cost me TONS more than it would have if I'd just taken him to his vet but oh well. After this trip, though, he did improve for quite a while.
This one was taken just a few days later, while he was laying on the kitchen floor keeping the greedy twins from his food (that's his yellow bowl in the background). Guard cat duty is tiring work, yanno!
The rest of these pics are off of my new cell... These two are of Curzon on my lap just a little while ago... him and his sister were laying on my lap (well, Curzon was more using my left thigh as a pillow but hey... it counts) making sure I didn't go anywhere today... I know, he's just so handsome, even when the pics aren't the best. I know... And yes, he really does hold my arm when he sleeps sometimes. I'm not sure if he thinks it's a teddy bear or what!!!
I was too lazy last night to haul Nimbus out from the bedroom to give him his poke, shot, and meds, so I instead got his pill shooter loaded, got a needle filled (even before the poke, I had a good idea what he was going to need and I was right), and loaded everything up and brought it to him. He's pretty comfy with jumping down off of things, but he's still not sure if he feels well enough to jump up ON the bed. When he does that I'll know he's feeling a lot better but that hasn't happened yet. So I lifted him up in bed, and broke ritual sorta. See, I do things for him in a set way: poke, shot, and pills (if he's getting any, and after all this he gonna be on meds the rest of his life). But I decided I'd pill him first and get that out of the way. Poor guy was confused but once he felt me grab his ear he knew what was going on. He stayed right there for everything, but once he got his shot he knew I was done with him. So I spread out a towel (yes I know I'm evil) as a BooTrap, knowing he has a hard time resisting something to knead and sleep on... and it worked! Hahahaha. He stayed for a good while... But after a bit of me up in his face with my phone, he was getting sick of me, as ever-so obvious by this final picture... MOL!
Now if that isn't a "leave me alone so I can sleep" look, I don't know what is! Poor guy!

We hope everyone is having a good day and trust me, Nimbus is going to get better if I have anything to say about it... and I think I do! hahaha!

Emma and I are purring hard for Nimbus. Moms seem to know what we need and how to give it to us with the least fuss. I know because I will also be on meds for the rest of my life and my Mom is really good at giving them to me. I have given Nimbus an award to help him feel better.
