A Disgrace to His Predecessor

This new pope has found a way to p*ss everyone off. I have yet to meet even a Catholic that can agree with his words. "Pope Benedict XVI reasserted the primacy of the Roman Catholic Church, approving a document released Tuesday that says other Christian communities are either defective or not true churches and Catholicism provides the only true path to salvation." Please read the entire article here. To even assert that if you're NOT Catholic you're doomed is the most selfish, self-centered, egotistical, outright heretical thing I've ever heard. God does NOT care about which denomination of Christianity you come from. God cares about what is inside. So maybe we all need to start writing the Pope and demand he gets right with God. Because obviously right now he's not listening to Him one bit. And it's so sad because his predecessor, John Paul II, did so much to heal relations within the Christian faith and between religions. I think if any one person of faith could have started to turn the trend towards war in the Middle East, it would've been John Paul. But his time here was done, and that's one soul that deserves more than most of us to have a long slumbering rest from his work! Rest in Peace, John Paul, we'll figure out how to move forward somehow. :)
