Another recall... this time I ate the stuff!
I'd decided a couple weeks ago that I'd get a couple pot pies as a change for the two of us, so I got 2 Chicken and 2 Turkey. We ate them a week later, then that night, as he's sleeping and I'm watching tv... THEY'VE BEEN RECALLED! Salmonella! (Note, now all Banquet pot pies are recalled.) Yikes!!!! No, it didn't make us sick, we were sick before! And we just have head colds. But gdmn it, enough is enough!

I wouldn't worry about it. Salmonella dies when the food is cooked properly. I've read that the majority of chickens are infected with it so it's always best to be careful not to cross contaminate while cooking. FWIW, I still eat raw cookie dough batter and so far haven't had problems.
My point was more of another recall of something I buy... ughhhh and I know about cooking... I had 4 in the oven, and 2 weren't quite done so I rotated them, I'm glad I did LOL
btw jeannine I deleted the duplicate comment you had. I don't know why it happened, but I didn't see why it needed to stay LOL.
Yeah, what jeannine said - I was going to say you probably cooked away all the toxins.

I wish I could say I'm feeling better but I'm not. The cold is still in my head, feeling like it's clogged somewhere between my nose and my throat. I hate being sick. And the allergies aren't helping!
