I Know What I Said...

WARNING: Sensitive people, don't read, very triggering.

... but this caught my attention...
Now there's one side of me that agrees with some of the naysayers that this seems draconian to say the least.
BUT...
If we treated all of our child rapists this way, I somehow think it'd be as big a problem as it is. The part of me that's more like my Mom's voice in the back of my head is cheering. Anyone capable of such horrific crimes against children deserves to die. Heck there's even a whisper in there saying it's not drastic and painful enough.
But there is a difference between torture and justice.
Where IS that line?
As Walter famously says, "what say you?"
Should a child rapist be beheaded then tied to wooden beams and displayed out in public like they did hundreds of years ago?
Or should they be forced to sit in prison for a set time and, as like in the US, serve their time and possibly be released?

You know, I'm with you on this. I find as I get older, I have WAY less tolerance for those that intentionally hurt others, children, adults, animals...

What is wrong with our society, anyway?

Ugh.

I hope your weekend is wonderful. :)
