Howdy friends.
I hope everyone's Christmas was good. We had quite a feast at one of Mr. Cat's friend's house. They made one killer ham and we brought one awesome turkey (thanks to Mr. Cat's poultry cooking brilliance). The stuffing turned out perfect (as always, the bird does it's job every time lol), Mr. Cat's baked mac and cheese was great... OMGG let's just say I'm STILL full a good 16 hours later. OOFAH!
So, in other stuff...
WTF happened in Detroit? Now watch they'll blame this on Obama somehow, they always find a way. How 'bout security letting us down either in Nigeria where the fkn terrorist came from or in Amsterdam where he went through a second security screening? Thank God the passengers once again were the ones who kept this idiot from doing anything even worse. Sheesh.
And did you hear about the kid that had been taken to Brazil 5 years ago finally being reunited with his American dad? How happy do you think that dad is right now, after fighting for so long to get his son back from his so-called wife and then her well-connected Brazilian family? There's a lot of work ahead for him, but I think he's ready for it.
Oh and how da hell did I bust up my PDA keyboard? Dangit! I went too the bathroom this morning and found a very critical piece of it on the side of the sink! Luckily it's nothing that a wee superglue couldn't fix, but I've tried my darnedest to keeping this thing from getting beat up! It's not even so much that I couldn't afford to replace it, because I probably could cheaply nowadays, but I depend too much on it! Imagine me having to hand-write all my blogs, or crawl my rear end out of bed to boot up the PC to write (and we all know how well that goes over lol)... I don't think that'd work too well, in all honesty! I am just glad my Mom instilled in me the need to be able to at least make small repairs. And many bigger ones, Mr. Cat has either shown me how to fix them or done so himself (I haven't found anything yet he can't fix). He even got me my own starter tool box so I CAN fix some of the smaller things (like when a bolt in the kitchen table or a screw in one of the chairs comes loose). It's come in handy for fixing my backpack on wheels many times and for some other little projects.
For you folks in the midwest that got slammed with that nasty weather, well I guess it's moving west, so hopefully we'll be able to thaw out because the next one should only hit the mountains!
So anyways, that's it for now from me. There's no sun here so no pictures. Just a Jadzia half under the blanket and Curzon right next to her, both hanging out with me in bed. We're chillin' out enjoying my last day off for a few days. Laters, everyone!
