Still not Frozen... YET!

Hello my dear feline friends! It's still cold as a witch's brew out as my Mom would say. I don't think it's warmed up much, if any at all. I have the day off and I intend to stay inside. I do think the wind finally calmed down a little bit though, and I am very thankful. It was getting a bit old to say the least, and the thought of hauling a cat outside just to give me the extra 15lb to MAYBE not blow away was close to crossing my mind it was so windy! But poor Curzon gets tortured enough, as he's the one that tends to get hauled outside every time I get the itching to take a cat outside. So it's a good thing that it didn't get past the distant thought stage - for his sake! LOL If he only knew... Oh dear...
So have you guys and gals made any resolutions yet? We have, oddly 'nuf! Nimbus resolves to take less crap from his mom and uncle. Jadzia resolves to play more and with things that normally only Curzon plays with. Curzon, well, he merely resolves to continue being Curzon!
I on the other hand, have bigger issues. I got to keep up better on Nimbus' records. I let myself get so far behind on his test chart that it takes me ages to catch up! Never mind I'm supposed to be keeping track of how much insulin he's getting too. Eesh... I feel like such a bad cat mommie sometimes. Such a procrastinator. But I always have been. Heck, some of my best essays were written the day before they were due! LOL luckily I grew out of that before I got out of high school. But now with everything going on all around me, I find me reverting back. That has to change. Same with some of the other basics around the house. The little things go a long way in making things easier, but getting there is a pain in itself sometimes!
So I have made the determination that I have to start soon, especially on Nimbus, because that big lil guy is counting on me. Jadzia on the other hand, is just counting on me not moving so she can continue snoopervising our blogging time!
So off we go, to post this and then browse the big wide internet! Jadzia sends her purrs from the safest spot: on my lap in bed! Curzon and Nimbus will surely send purrs when they get done chasing each other or whatever the heck Curzon is chasing, though I am relatively sure it's probably Nim. That poor cat... GET HIM, NIMBUS! I know, Curzon is MY cat, but he too needs to be reminded he's not the only big boy in town. So, GO NIMMY!
