We, on behalf of our mombean, would like to apologize for the lack of pictures over the last couple days and for the next few days. Her "short" week became an extended week before it even started, so everything is getting shuffled around. We will make sure she gets around to visiting everyone again, we promise! We also have many new friends to add to our blogroll and will do so when she gets on! So if you've left us a comment recently on our blog (including for the contest), we will be trying to come around soon. If you haven't heard from us by this time next week, drop us a note so we know who mom forgot! We also have to get her to change our background, if she can remember how she did it the first time!
Also, we would like to inform all concerned parties of a couple cat-related things going on around here.
Curzon's puking spells have improved. He barfed once right after he got home from the vet and hasn't since. Maybe he just needed to get his stomach vet-handled. Mom's as baffled as to why he got so sick and then better so quickly as Curzon's still baffled as to why he went to the vet in the first place!
Nimbus responded very well to the antibiotics that the vet gave him. As most of you know, Nimbus is very succeptible to infections because of his diabetes, and because of the twice-daily blood testing he gets, mom can tell usually when something's not right. So you can imagine how estatic she is right now that Nimbus has responded so well she's cut his insulin shots in half! Nimbus has returned the favor by hiding under the table in the bedroom and making mom work to give him his poke and shot. He's still cooperating - once he's out from under the table!
And I, the Queen of this clan of misfits, would like to report that the mom has managed to make my itchies go away once again. I think it has something to do with the nasty smelling stuff she put on me a few days ago. My owies are starting to heal, though that only makes them itch! But I'm trying to be a good girl and not itch them! Besides, mom keeps threatening me with that long plastic tube thingie she calls the "pill shooter" - I don't want to take any pills! And I promise, Rumbles darling, I'll make mom take a real good picture of me here soon. And maybe I'll talk my brother into trying to look a little more like Dante, but right now he's busy going for the meatloaf look! I think it's the only pose he's good at! Well, except meatloaf doesn't have fur... Though mom's called the boy a meatloaf more than once...
Anyways, that's all from the Clan right now. We want to take this final opportunity to thank mom for letting us take over her blog, even if it's not permanently. We are thoroughly enjoying our own writing space!
PS: "mom" here - for all you non-cat bloggers, don't forget to check out the other blog! Just look in my profile for the link.
