OMC dig me a hole now.
Yesterday it was a tornado warning that got a little too close for comfort... the storm missed us but not by too much. If we lived any further south, we woulda got it. Too much for this Kansas kid. Had Mr. Cat not been home, rest assured, things would've been packed up ready to start the exodus to the basement. I'm a pro at that.
And then today there was an EARTHQUAKE! OMC enough! We were just out of the fringe of feeling it here, though they felt it back in Cincinnati (my adopted hometown and where we still have peeps). The epicenter was in Canada but it got felt plenty around it. I know it sounds freaky weird, and it is. But just read about the 1812 New Madrid earthquake and what they're saying awaits us. Uhm... no. Sorry. Part of the reason I was so happy to leave Arizona was to get AWAY from earthquakes. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR Ground = Solid = Does NOT move! Get it right, stoopid planet! I know, I know, it has to happen. Just NOT here!
So please, dig me a hole about 30 feet underground, cased in cement, with its own separate air supply. I think I might have to hide out a little while.

Oh and while I'm here...
The purrs have worked. I'm willing to call it at least mostly over. Nimbus has stabilized, and if he continues this trend he'll get another half-unit cut back from his shot soon, probably Friday morning (unless he's low tomorrow morning). I don't like to cut in the PM because he comes up overnight, so it's just asking for trouble. But he's feeling good - it's obvious, because he ain't taking any crap from anyone! Thanks to everyone who purred for him!
And we now have over 3x as many twitpeeps as bloggerpeeps following us. It feels weird considering we are total bloggers. But it's all cool. Even if I decide to part ways with twit, I'll leave it up for anyone who might stumble along my little dustbunny in the corner of the room!
Peace!
TSB
