Nimbus' lungs are nearly filled with liquid - he got rushed off to vet at 1015 thanks to me and Mr. Cat's BFF. However, his heart rate is still excellent, so the vet is going to try to drain what she can - she doesn't do this often and doesn't have the sonogram to guide her through. But he WILL die without this, so I have to trust her to do this. The house feels so empty without him in it, but he'll be home this evening, as they're not 24 hours. I will be shaking n bawling until I know he's ok for sure.

Oh we are so behind - I had no idea Nimbus had gotten so so sick - we are sending tons of purrs and prayers for him to be ok!

Your Nimbus looks exactly like my beloved Magoo. He went to the Bridge just over 10 months ago. He was part Maine Coon.

Yes he is, but he has a very long road to go. More vet visits, a lot more
medicine, and a LOT of peeing!
We are sending tons of purrs and purrayers to sweet Nimbus to get better.

For some reason it won't let me comment on the newest post, so I am hoping this will post - I copied what I typed for that one: Oh I am so glad that Nimbus is doing at least a bit better. It sounds like you have a completely amazing vet - that is such a good thing to find. We are still sending him tons and tons of purrs and prayers and hope that he will be back to his normal self very very soon!! We know it will be tough but we hope not too bad for him - we are just glad that he is home and hopefully will be ok.
