Compliments n stuff

Thanks guys fer the compliments.
People so often look around and mistakenly judge people. The rich are smart and the poor aren't. It upsets mom especially. Sometimes ONE fateful decision changes everything, for better or for worse.
Mom has had one friend through a good portion of her life. He was there through some of the darker days in mama's youth. He was the one that picked her up from the airport the first time she flew home many years ago (and two things mama is afraid of: flying and crowds). They go back a good 20 years, and when they lost contact for a good while a few years back, she left no stone unturned until she found his other childhood bff who knew where he might be or at least someone there WOULD know where to find him. He's not the smartest person in the world and you can tell. But his nose, like mama's, is always in a book, even if its a work of fiction. And he's always been a grounding force in her life, as she says a man wise beyond his years. As a teen he walked with mama through some pretty tough times, always keeping her thinking logically. But so many people can't see past the way things have gone for him lately that he needed the same boost that he'd given ma so many times. He's grown wary of people judging him so he struggles with the urge to isolate himself. Nearly a whole continent separates them now, but they are in regular contact.
Why did we share this story? Because we want everyone to think. So many of you were there for us through so many dark days. But there has been a lot of hurt and anger around the interwebs lately. We just want to remind everyone that, behind every anipal there is a hoomin that is very much alive. Just remember to think before you speak and that you have two ears and only one mouth for a reason.
