Mama Project

Some of you know mama is a big collector of foreign coins (though, no offense Canadians) except most Canadian ones she passes on because they're not that rare here. In her eyes, it's probably the only way she'll get to see the world MOL. Well, most of them are fairly easy to figure where they're from. But Middle Eastern and Asian coins are notoriously difficult. Luckily she found someone online that is pretty smart! She got to go to Morocco, Egypt, Taiwan, Japan and lots of other cool places yesterday in her little collection! Maybe she'll find someone getting ready to go somewhere cool and trade coins! So that's what mama has been working on. And admiring the German coin that she has that at least appears to be old.
So what have we been up to?

I've been nuzzling mama, grabbing her, trying to get her to stop and pay attention to me! And doing what I do best - LOOK HANDSOME! Yes, I think I've mastered that.

And I have been laying right next to her or on her, trying to weigh down her arms so she stops paying attention to anything but ME! After all, I AM the Queen and should be the center of everything going on here! Speaking of which, we haven't had any stinky goodness since Cricket was rescued! Mama, you're slacking!
I did get mama to take a few more pics of me, which we will share later. Mama really needs to rest and catch us up on everything going on! We hope everyone is well! And for all of you who were devastated by the loss of Google Reader, Mama went to Feedly, but it is crash-happy, especially on her phone. She found that gReader actually works faster and doesn't crash as much, at least on the Kindle. She can't wait to try it out on the phone!

I just downloaded it for the phone. It works so much nicer on the Kindle. I'm about to get it set on the phone right now. Let me know if you get it Sparkle.

Mommy has the Bloglovin' reader and she likes it.
Mommy wants some kind of coin called a ha'penny. All I know is it's British, and I don't think they make them any more.

you're right, they quit making the half a while back. I HAVE ONE! they are extremely rare it seems considering my collection of UK coinage. does your mama collect US coins?

I think she'd rather spend them. Hee Hee. She used to have a US coin collection years ago, but she was robbed. Some of the coins her grandfather gave her. So they were very old. She hasn't had the heart to start again (or the money to invest in it). But years ago when she was a student she was in England for a summer and does not know where all her British change went....

you don't really need separate funds to start. mama doesn't and she ends up with lots. some, people just GIVE her because they want rid of it. others she buys out of her till at the end of the day with her pocket change. some she gets as change from others when she buys things.
